Items Needed To Be Approved as A Volunteer Trailer Driver For LPO Band(Drive District Truck/Trailer)
Obtain driving record from DMV. Cost about $10-15. This cost is not reimbursable by boosters.
Bring your drivers license and copy of driving record to transportation office(next to bus lot) at OUHSD District Office. Speak with Transportation Secretary. 2211 Washington Ave, Oroville, CA.
Fill out the OUHSD Volunteer form below for board approval. Submit the following form to Brenda in main district office. Remind them you will be a volunteer trailer driver and will not be transporting students. You do not need to do a livescan/drug test to be a volunteer trailer driver. Board meetings are usually the second/third Wednesday of each month. Please plan accordingly.
Notes: This process will allow you to drive the district band truck/trailer. The district has fuel for the truck, please do not gas up the district truck as boosters cannot reimburse you. If you are driving for a trip that requires more fuel than one tank, please ask for district gas card at transportation office.
Keys need to be picked up at transportation office between the hours of 8am-3pm on school days.
